History

TEMS was founded in 2000 with the support of the University of Minnesota Humanities Institute. During 2003-05 it was funded by a grant from the University's Interdisciplinary Research Scholarly and Creative Activities Program. We are now a Research and Creative Collaborative of the University of Minnesota's Institute for Advanced Study. In the past, we have collaborated with the following groups and programs at the University of Minnesota:
